- First and foremost, I am the proud mom of two amazing boys! Carson and Reid. I'm not starting my cupcake business so my boys can one day take over the cupcake empire. I am, however, starting it because I think cupcakes are one of the happiest foods around and I love to make people happy. Of course I love making them for birthday parties or wedding showers, but I like to think outside of the box. I have customers that have purchased my cupcakes for employee appreciation days and last-day-of-cancer-treatment celebrations. That's the unexpected cupcake recipient that just got their day brightened by something as simple as a cupcake. Sales representatives that have current customers or customers they are trying to gain love to drop off a hot pink box full of cupcakes. Just this week I delivered jumbo cupcakes with custom namecards in them for a luncheon. Sure, you could do a boring paper placecard OR you could put your placecard in a triple chocolate jumbo cupcake. Which would you rather have?
